Around June of annually, the Millet Times celebration will require place. This is the annual parade, trade indicate, pyrotechnic, & regionally noted Millet Times Soccer Tournament. Millet focuses in agriculture, & recreation & sports.

=History= the Town of Millet was known as around honour of August Millet, world health organization was believed to exist as a paddler for Father Lacombe. around June 17, 1903, Millet was proclaimed the Village by an Choose-in-Council of the Northwest Territories. By 1908, Millet's 1st Council member were elected.

Within October 1927 a calamitous fire destroyed several of a buildings along a east side of Railway Street, however the business community rebuilt through the street.

Around 1950, the Board of Trade built a Community Hall & gave it to the Village. A Hall is however existence utilized now. Around 1953, Northwestern Utilities brought gas to the Village. Griffiths Scott School was built witharound 1982, & the Senior Citizens Apartment was completed in 1983. In September First, 1983, Millet was declared the Town, & "Coming to Town" celebrations were held in October 15, 1983.

=A First= Town council has hopes of Millet growing largely in the years to are. Hopefully beginning, by owning the recently Points N Developments on the to the north prevent of town, that may handle a 35 acre range. Phase one of this newly residential development, may lead off at anytime. Likewise projected for in a region of the Points Northerly area occurs as high for Millet. (Which is non already available, students around high school (grades 10-12) come bussed to either Wetaskiwin or even Leduc).
